work" SOLD at CORONATION GALLERY HORNSBY (Sydney) Australia. The painting was executed in
Wahroonga Australia over a period of several months in 1997 and
revisited a year later for final detail work, its finishing date

works inspired after a trip to Queensland where the magnificent
hunting horn was purchased in an Antique shop. The setting is
very much in the style of the 17th century Dutch Masters, and
attention to detail as in its fruit and objects, is
striking." It is now adoring a stately Wahroonga home. Oil
on board. 122x91 cm.

A well balanced composition with very interesting details, The steinzeug ( lidded jug ) is 19th century German, probably from the Westerwald district.. 40x50 cm. oil on board.
# 1803 SOLD" Blue Items and pink roses" Sold by : Painted in 1998 Wahroonga, sold by Fisher gallery Christchurch New Zealand. Although the painting was initially inspired by a front cover of a Dutch art magazine, the final product bears no resemblance at all, although the objects are simple the composition is enriched by the pink roses and the light hitting the right hand wall. Oil on board 50 x 61cm.

It is not easy to have a narrow upright composition but the peach in the front does break the dominance of the upright glass behind it otherwise it would have given it a more slim look.
